USE OF BUSINESS GAMES FOR TEACHING SPECIALISTS WHO PROVIDE OPERATIONAL AND MILITARY TRAINING IN TERRITORIAL BODIES OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR AFFAIRS OF RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The paper explores the problem of teaching specialists who provide operational and combat training of staff employed by territorial bodies of the RF Ministry of Interior Affairs (except for members of special units). During the operational military training at educational institutions and territorial authorities learners are taught how to act in typical situations of duty. At these sessions, employees acquire the skills of legitimate use of physical force, special means and firearms. Employees also learn the tactics of action in critical situations of service activity requiring immediate use of physical force, special means and firearms. The issue of identification and use of effective methods of training police officers to operate in typical situations of military service and staff implementing this pedagogical activity has not been investigated enough yet. The author proposes to use the method of a business game for furthering skills of police officers in using physical force, special means and firearms, to perform professional tasks in typical situations of duty. The essence of the method of business game is that police officers are required to develop and test options for a particular model situations of service – case studies; to choose and test methods, means and forms relevant to the study actions of employees of Interior bodies of territorial bodies of the Interior Ministry of Russia in these situations. To apply the business method were used themes which simulate actions of police officers when attempting to seize firearms, vehicle of the police during the detention of a person providing armed resistance; when dealing with a group or armed attack on a building; to prevent the escape from custody
