FURTHERING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES OF A PHILOLOGY STUDENT BY MEANS OF LITERARY TEXT ANALYSIS

The paper explores methods of development of common cultural and professional competences of a graduate specialising in linguistics and literary studies by means of the literary text analysis. The analysis of the literary text is one of important forms of work in training students philologists and translators. Along with development of specific language skills and abilities the analysis of the text facilitates the general development of the identity of a young man. Work with literary text allows to reveal additional competences: abilities to the emotion analysis, emotional intelligence. The emotional intelligence is basic administrative competence. Its possession allows to become a successful head in the field of business, policy, the public and municipal administration. Thus, philological education becomes the most universal way of development of basic and special administrative competences.
