MODERN TECHNOLOGIES FOR ENSURING QUALITY EDUCATION PROCESS IN NATIONAL RESEARCH UNIVERSITIES

The system of higher education requires new modern approaches towards the process of education. The advantages of using information technologies in education are presented. A special attention is paid to distant learning technologies and information systems of education. The article describes active forms of learning such as business games, case studies, Case method, trainings, debates, round table discussions, and new forms of lectures such as a problem lecture, “pairlecture”, lecture-visualisation, lecture − press conference and lecture with the preplanned mistakes. In addition, the article gives examples from the teaching practice. The authors emphasize the role of independent student work in enhancing competencies and pay attention to lecturer’s professional and personal characteristics.
