INTEGRATION OF GEODESIC EDUCATION

S. A. Kudzh, V. Ya. Tsvetkov
(Moscow State Technical University of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation)

The article examines the integration of geodesic education in respect to geoinformatics. The authors explore the relationship between geometry and geodesy as well as geoinformatics with a number of academic fields. Geoinformatics is considered instrumental in multi-disciplinary transfer of knowledge and developing information education environment. This article describes the similarities and differences between geomatics and geoinformatics where geoinformatics is a broader science, whereas geomatics aims at solving problems of land use. The article highlights the key points of the geodesic integration of education, such as terminology, the use of units of information, visual modeling, spatial information, remote sensing, navigation field. It provides the results of the integration of applications in areas such as regional management, geoinformation monitoring, transport and logistics..

Keywords: еducation; geoinformatics; integration of education; knowledg e transfer
