PEDAGOGICAL SYSTEM OF AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION: SPECIFICS OF INTEGRATION IN PEDAGOGICAL THEORY AND PRACTICE

The purpose of this article is to reveal the peculiarities of modern theoretical understanding of the concept “pedagogical system”, to carry out the analysis of research addressing educational system in classical and modern pedagogical theory and practice; to elaborate on conceptualisation of the notion of educational institution as a pedagogical system. Educational systems are complex open social systems. These dynamic systems operate in conditions of constant volatility factors of the external environment, and changes in the internal states of the system. Most often research papers analyse separate schools as pedagogical systems in which teachers-innovators have developed their own special teaching methods. In modern pedagogical practice the topical approach is when pedagogical system is studied in dynamics as a pedagogical process that requires the researcher to monitor the functioning and development of the pedagogical system.
