EDUCATION IN SOCIETY’S INFORMATISATION

This article discusses an integrated approach to the problem of informatisation, implementation of governmental programmes, introduction of the concept of further education, innovative methods and forms of education, distance education, effective work with gifted children. All these should solve problems of training prospective specialists not only for today but for tomorrow, forming the personnel potential of the information society. One of the hallmarks of the information society and one of the main reasons for high dynamic processes in the field of information technologies is the peculiarity of information as a resource. Unlike tangible assets, distribution and consumption of information, as well as its higher form - knowledge, does not entail its loss by carrier.
