COMPLEX SITUATIONAL ASSIGNMENT IN ENGINEERING GRAPHICS FOR BACHELOR DEGREE STUDENTS – PROSPECTIVE CIVIL ENGINEERS

The paper explores the structure of a multilevel complex situational assignment in engineering graphics designed for bachelor degree students of the first year of study, specialising in “Construction engineering”. Complex situational assignments are intended for final assessment of quality of available engineering-graphic competence and developed with due account for its structure. The structure of the engineering-graphic competence accounts for types and tasks of a bachelor degree student’s activity and includes six components: organisational, normative, analytical, graphic, project and informational. Complex situational assignments include assignments for checking basic, programme and creative levels of available engineering-graphic competence and is consistent with basic criteria for quality of engineering-graphic preparation: fundamentality, professional orientation, problem-focused and anticipatory ch aracter.
