1971 - Senior Lecturer of Chair of Mathematics, Kaluga State Pedagogical Institute, Kaluga.

1973 – Lecturer of Chair of Algebra and Geometry, Yevsevyev Mordovia State Pedagogical Institute, Saransk.

1974 - Head of Chair of Mathematics, Yevsevyev Mordovia State Pedagogical Institute.

1985 - Dean of Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Yevsevyev Mordovia State Pedagogical Institute.

1989 - Head of Chair of Mathematics, Yevsevyev Mordovia State Pedagogical Institute.

Additional Information 

In 1991, G.I. Sarantsev founded the dissertation council for PhD degree in pedagogy. In 2001, this council was transformed into a dissertation council for Dr.Sci. degree in the field of pedagogy, theory and methods of teaching and education (mathematics).
